The transverse roof rack is a practical accessory to the Škoda Karoq. Owing to its high quality, proven safety record and high user comfort, the transverse roof rack is regarded as the best solution for transporting big objects whose dimensions are beyond the capacity of the vehicle´s luggage compartment. After being installed onto the longitudinal roof rails, the transverse roof rack is simply fixed in place by moving its eccentric lever to the bottom position. The roof rack is lockable and therefore theft-resistant. Using what is known as “T-groove”, the roof rack can carry practical and reliably lockable transport systems such as bike racks, ski racks, ski and snowboard boxes, luggage trays, etc. The roof rack has undergone stringent water-tightness, corrosion and lifespan tests, and has proven its resistance and strength by passing the City Crash Test (transport system test method).
