To increase already high utility of your Škoda Rapid, you can order removable tow bar with folding socket holder from Škoda Genuine Accessories. This tow bar was specifically designed for this vehicle. Maximum vertical loading capacity is 1 200 kg for braked trailer and 630 kg for unbraked one. The tow bar has been manufactured according to approved documentation and complies with ECE E1 55R-012196.
For installation, the following parts from Škoda Genuine Accessories need to be ordered:
Wiring harness set for cars with tow bar preparation:
- until CW 22/2015 use 5JJ 055 204 (contains control unit 1K0 907 383F)
- from CW 22/2015 use 5JJ 055 202B (contains control unit 5H0 907 383C)
Wiring harness set for cars without tow bar preparation:
- until CW 22/2015 use 5JJ 055 204 + 5JJ 055 204A
- from CW 22/2015 use 5JJ 055 202B + 5JA 055 204B
