This non-detachable tow bar not only increases the utility of the vehicle – first and foremost, it is a practical accessory for any drivers who regularly use a trailer and would happily give up the constant battle with attaching and removing the ball hitch. Manufactured from high-quality materials, the tow bar has undergone rigorous testing for strength and resistance to corrosion, as well as load tests. It complies with homologation E8 55R-01 55681 and all Czech and international regulations.
 
With the non-detachable tow bar, the ball hitch is securely fixed to the tow bar support frame using two bolts (the connection can be dismantled, as required). When you are driving abroad, the country-specific legal regulations must be followed at all times if you have not attached a trailer to the tow bar fitted to your car.
 
Retrofitting a tow bar to your vehicle increases the demand on its cooling system. As a result, depending on the equipment fitted to the vehicle, the cooling system components will need to be replaced in accordance with the information either held by workshop technicians in authorised Škoda Auto specialist service centres or available in B2B.
 
Please note: This component is not compatible with the electronic system in vehicles manufactured in Russia (Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod).

Maximum trailing load: Braked – up to 2000 kg; unbraked – up to 750 kg. The trailing load limits as specified in the vehicle‘s documentation shall apply. Maximum vertical load: Front-wheel drive Octavia, Octavia Combi: 75 kg, Octavia Combi 4x4: 80 kg. Maximum vertical load for accessories: 75 kg. Theoretical force (Dc value): 10.6 kN.
Warning
Due to the complex nature of the work required, as well as the subsequent activation of the tow bar, fitting must be carried out by an authorised Škoda service partner.
Restrictions
Not available for Octavia Greenline vehicles manufactured between week 45/2013 and week 05/2014, the Octavia Combi Scout or for natural gas vehicles.
