Manufactured from high-quality materials, the tow bar has undergone load tests as well as rigorous testing for strength and resistance to corrosion. The tow bar complies with homologation E1 55R-01 2601 and all Czech and international regulations. Please refer to the Owner‘s Manual for detailed instructions on how to use the ball hitch. Retrofitting a tow bar to your vehicle increases the demand on its cooling system. As a result, depending on the equipment fitted to the vehicle, the cooling system components will need to be replaced in accordance with the information either held by workshop technicians in authorised Škoda Auto specialist service centres.
This component is compatible with the electronic system in vehicles manufactured in Russia (Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod) from CW 51/2019.

- See the vehicle‘s Owner‘s Manual for the maximum trailing load (braked/unbraked) and maximum bearing load. Maximum vertical load: 100 kg. Maximum vertical load for accessories: 75 kg.

- Exclusively for the basic models Škoda Kodiaq I with either left- or right-hand drive, manufactured from CW 38/2018.
- Notice
- Due to the complex nature of the work required, as well as the subsequent activation of the tow bar, fitting must be carried out exclusively by an authorised Škoda Auto service partner.

It cannot be used for seven-seater vehicles that have TDI engines and manual transmission MQ.
For vehicles:
- Kodiaq 2,0 147 kW TDi produced from CW 39/2020
- Kodiaq RS 2,0 176 kW TDi from starts of production
- can be fitted only if they have a tow bar preparation from the production line.
- Cannot be retrofitted to Kodiaq FL vehicles without tow bar preparation.
- It cannot be used for vehicles exported to Australia.
