The snow chains for 19" wheels from the Škoda Genuine Accessories range are an essential part of the mandatory vehicle equipment for safe driving in winter conditions. The diagonal-pattern design with square-profile links improves wheel grip, supports efficient transmission of driving force during acceleration and braking, and significantly enhances vehicle traction on snow and ice.
The chains are made of high-quality steel, offering high strength and excellent wear resistance even during prolonged use. The product has successfully passed demanding homologation tests focused on mechanical durability and compatibility with Škoda vehicles.
The chains are installed on the permanently driven axle of the vehicle. For the Škoda Enyaq and Škoda Elroq models, the chains are fitted to the rear axle.
After installation, it is recommended to check that the chains are correctly seated after driving approximately 50 to 100 metres and, if necessary, re tension them. The maximum recommended speed with the chains fitted is 50 km/h.
