Cruise control without on-board computer function

Cruise control is designed to make life easier when travelling and is intended particularly for drivers who often travel on motorways or roads on which it is beneficial to be able to keep to a constant speed.

Cruise control

• has exactly the same functionality as optional equipment package 8T6, which is fitted as standard
• helps the driver to maintain the set speed (at least 30 km/h) without having to press the accelerator pedal
• the speed can be set quite easily using the switch on the left-hand control lever below the steering wheel
• is activated as follows – for vehicles with manual transmission – the vehicle must be in second gear or higher
• for vehicles with automatic transmission – the selector lever must be in position D or S, or in the Tiptronic position
• is deactivated as follows – automatically – if the brake pedal is pressed, if a brake assistance system (e.g. ESC) intervenes, if the airbags are triggered or if the MODE button is pressed
• manually – using the switch on the control lever below the steering wheel

Activating the cruise control system (8T9 » 8T6)

• using the activation software 5E0054800 as well as the diagnostic tool

Activating the speed limiter (8T2 » 8T6)

• the accelerator pedal / 6C1723503B must be ordered from the Škoda Original Components range
• as per the procedure in the Škoda Repair Manual, the existing accelerator pedal must be replaced and the activation process then carried out
