Tow bar Octavia IV

The tow bar from the Škoda Genuine Accessories range allows you to easily attach a trailer or a bike carrier. This increases the utility value of the vehicle and expands its usage possibilities. The device has undergone load tests and is resistant to corrosion. The tow bar complies with homologation E155R-012858 and all Czech and international regulations.  With this tow bar, a simple automatic mechanism allows the ball hitch to be swivelled out into the working position and then, when it is no longer needed, swivelled back in beneath the bumper.

This tow bar is designed for vehicles with UN.ECE equipment (NI1/NI7/NI8/NI9):
1.ICE (0K0) / mHEV (0K4), with preparation for a tow bar (1M5)
or
2.ICE (0K0), without preparation for a tow bar (1D0), where it is necessary to additionally order:
Electrical installation kit for the tow bar: 5E3055204A and 5E3055204E.

For fitting must be ordered from the Škoda Genuine catalogue:
For Octavia Combi (PV5) vehicles without preparation for a tow bar:
-Diffuser 5E6807521E (not valid for Octavia RS vehicles)

The rear bumper diffuser must always be replaced. Replace the diffuser on the disassembled bumper by carefully unclipping the original diffuser and clipping in the new diffuser.
When replacing the diffuser on vehicles with a virtual pedal (PR - 4E6), it is necessary to additionally order:
- Antenna for the virtual pedal 5E3962239A
- Control unit holder 3G0962283A
For mHEV vehicles (0K4) without tow bar preparation (PR 0K4) from CW 06/2026, activation is only possible for selected production periods and provided that the vehicle battery is replaced according to the procedure described below.

For mHEV vehicles without preparation (PR 0K4, 1D0), the following additional parts must be ordered:
a) For vehicles with battery PR J2D: 70 Ah vehicle battery – 000915089AC
b) For vehicles with battery PR J4J: 70 Ah vehicle battery – 000915089AC
